Half Day Tour To Dujiangyan Irrigation Project

Your guide will pick you up at your hotel at about 8:30am for a half day tour, and transfer to Dujiangyan, 56 kilometers (34.8miles) west of Chengdu. Dujiangyan Irrigation Project was built over 2250 years ago to irrigate the Chengdu Basin. It has been cultivated the whole basin for more than 2000 years already, even now it still plays a crucial role in draining off floodwater, irrigating farms and providing water resources for more than 50 cities in Sichuan province.
