- Temple of Heaven: Built in 1420, the Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.72 million square meters,even bigger than the Imperial Palace. Most of the buildings are located along the central axis from south to north. This is where ancient emperors used to hold sacrificial ceremonies and pray for bumper harvests for his people.
- The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace was once home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from 1420 till 1911.Its construction began in 1406 and completed in 1420. It is the world's largest and best preserved ancient complex of wooden architecture. In 1987, it was enrolled as a "World Chutural Heritage" by the UNESCO.
- Traditional Mongolia Restaurant: Traditional Mongolia Restaurant is located near the Forbidden City. It serves northern Chinese food based on Mongolia cuisine. It brings Mongolia's long and distinguished cultural and literary history. A traditional Mongolian yurt (tent) is available on the third floor but a reservation is needed and a surcharge applies. Live performances of Mongolian music are sometimes preformed in the restaurant.

- Beijing Shaolin Martial Art School: As a key martial arts school in Beijing, Beijing Shaolin Martial Art School was established in 1991. The Martial Art, Chinese Dance, Dragon Play, Sanda skills, all these performances of strong Chinese characters, especially the traditional Kungfu are the courses of Beijing Shaolin Martial Art School.
- The Badaling Great Wall: This very popular section, the first part of the Great Wall that was opened to the public, has been extensively restored. It climbs across superb mountain scenery 70km NW of Beijing. The battlements and watchtowers are high and steep in places, and provide wonderful views across the hills. Wear good walking shoes, and protection from the weather.
- Beijing Golden Palace International Restaurant: Golden Palace Friendship Store Co., Ltd is a multi-functional shopping mall containing shopping store, Cloisonné factory, and restaurant. It located near the Badaling Great Wall. It is a great place to see cloisonne shopping made by traditional methods and to purchase high quality pieces. Good quality meals are available in clean, pleasant surroundings. The restaurant caters to a wide variety of tastes.

Day 4

- Summer Palace: Much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours here. Renovations (complete in 2010) mean that an individual section or building may be closed at any one time, but this is a huge site. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Short Hutong Tour in Xicheng District: Hutong, or old alleys, is the best place to observe the tradition of old Beijing. By taking a Hutong tour, visitors can ride a rickshaw that goes through the winding Hutongs, visit a local family in their courtyard house, talk to Beijingers and get to see how life goes on within these traditional architectures.
- Courtyard 7 Restaurant: Courtyard 7 is located in central area of Nan Luo Guo. Its well designed Chinese style modeling,the layout makes it antiquity and rusticity. Its special featured restaurant provides new modern French dishes. Seating in Courtyard 7, you may see the fusion of eastern and western culture, and smell apart of old and new fashion air. Here, you can not only taste delicious gourmet food, but also can enjoy a piece of pure land and haven in such a busy city. Courtyard 7 welcomes you stay and enjoy.

Today's Activities: Tanzhe Temple, The White Cloud Taoist Temple, Tai chi Experience at the Temple of Heaven

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Xibei Restaurant

- Tanzhe Temple: Appreciating the Tanzhe Temple on the top of a beautiful peak is a way to appreciate the city's splendid history. Inside the temple, there are more than 70 colorful Buddhist pagodas of different sizes. Around the building complex are a multitude of aged trees bearing witness to the ups and downs that the temple underwent. It is an impressive temple to visit, but be warned there is a fair amount of climbing and quite a few steps.
- The White Cloud Taoist Temple: It's the largest Taoist Temple Architecture of All-True (Quanzhen) School existing at Beijing. The temple was initially built in Kaiyuan Year 27(739) of the Tang Dynasty. The architecture is magnificent and pretty and decorative mainly with the Taoist patterns such as glossy ganoderma, Eight Immortals, Eight Diagrams, red-crowned cranes, full of the features of Taoism. The Chinese Taoism Association is established there.
- Xibei Restaurant: Xibei Restaurant brings Chinese North western cuisines to Beijing with cultures from Manchus, Mongolians, Chinese muslims and Hans.

Day 6

Today's Activities: Lama Temple, Beijing Capital Museum, Tai chi Experience at the Temple of Heaven

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch)

- Lama Temple: Yonghe Lamasery has a history of more than 300 years, and it is the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery outside of Tibet. Here you will see the world's largest wooden statue of Buddha and numerous Tibetan Buddhist collections. Yonghe Lamasery is very popular among local people, many people come to worship the Buddha and pray for good luck.
- Beijing Capital Museum: It is the most advanced and modern comprehensive museum and the symbol construction of Beijing. Hundreds of exhibitions have been held here covering a wide variety of subjects, history, cultural relics, revolutionary history, folk customs, etc.
- Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch): This restaurant of typical Chinese style, it serves traditional-style food(mainly noodle) in a active Old Peking atmosphere. Waiters clad traditionally shout and cry around the room to announce customers arriving or leaving. Having the taste of the tasty noodles, usually eaten with a thick sesame and soy-based sauce, it is very noisy! You have some real experience of Old Beijing.
