- Jokhang Temple: Johkang Monastery is located in the center of Lhasa old city, near the bustling Barkhor Street. The monastery is the product of Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques. It is the worshipping center in Lhasa, and many locals come here to pray regularly.
- Potala Palace: Built in the seventh century, Potala Palace was the former winter home of Dalai Lamas. Today it served as a huge museum that houses and exhibits precious materials and articles of the history, arts, religion and culture of Tibet.
- Barkhor Street: It is the oldest street in Lhasa with colorful Tibetan features. Varieties of commodities are sold here and present to you all aspects of Tibetan life. You will also see pilgrims from different places of Tibet with praying wheels circling around the Jokhang Monastery.
- Steak House Restaurant: Steak House is near the Potala Palace and serves mainly Western and Tibetan cuisine. Surrounded by the alluring landscape, it is a great dining experience while traveling in Tibet.

Day 3

Today's Activities: Norbulingka, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery

- Norbulingka: Built in 1755, Norbulingka served as the summer retreat for Dalai Lama. It covers an area of 360,000 square meters, and is made up of three main palaces. The garden has 370 rooms, with waterside pavilions, lakes, hills and grasslands dotted around them.
- Sera Monastery: Sera Monastery is one of the three greatest monasteries in Tibet. It is grand in scale, with an area of 114,964 square meters. It is the venue where monks hold daily debates.
- Drepung Monastery: Located 5 kilometers from Lhasa city center, Trepung Monastery is the largest monastery in Tibet. It was founded in 1416. Its white grand buildings makes a contrast under the sunlight against the black mountain at its back.

Day 4

Place & Transport: Lhasa to Tsetang

Today's Activities: Our guide and driver will escort you from Lhasa to Tsetang, Samye Monastery, Yumbulagang Palace

- Samye Monastery: It is one of the oldest monasteries in Tibet, built a little later than Jokhang Monastery between 775 and 779, during the first flourishing period of Tibetan Buddhism. The monastery is full of Tibetan religious art and relics. It is an active important pilgrimage in Tibet.
- Yumbulagang Palace: It is the first palace built in Tibet and the palace for the first Tibetan King Nyatri Tsenpo. Yumbulagang was erected in the second century BC, perching on the mountain top.

Day 5

Place & Transport: Tsetang to Shigatse

- Yomdrok Lake: With a length of 72 kilometers, Yamdrok Lake is one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet. It is surrounded by snow-capped mountains. In Tibetan mythology, the lake is the transformation of goddess.
- The Palgor Chorten : It is located 100 kilometers from Shigatse, or 270 kilometers from Lhasa. Being the main monastery in Gyantse, Palcho Monastery is a fusion of Tibetan, Han and Nepali architecture styles. It is well known for its architecture, sculpture and mural paintings.

Day 6

Place & Transport: Shigatse to Dingri

- Tashilunpo Monastery: Taishilhunpo Monastery was founded in 1447, and is the largest monastery in Shigatse. Taishilhunpo in Tibetan language means "all fortune and happiness gathered here". The buildings are painted in red and white, and they stand closely together on terraced fields, presenting a majestic view.

Day 7

Place & Transport: Dingri to Shigatse

- Everest Base Camp: Challenging the Mt. Everest, the highest peak of the Earth, probably is the biggest wish among those adventurous travelers. Journey to Mt. Everest Base Camp is a both physical as well as psychological challenge to you --5200mt (17000ft), but it will definitely reward you with the most unparalleled views – a panorama of Himalayan peaks - and never-forgotten beautiful memories. If you want to take this challenge, you should go to the gym and start your preparations.
- Rongbuk Monastery: With an altitude of 5,100 meters, the Rongbuk Monastery is the highest monasteries in the world. You can take a great view of the Everest here. The monastery was built by a local lama in about 1899. It is a five-tier building, but only two floors are in use. Now it is an important monastery among the local people. Ceremonies and celebrations are held here. Here you can also take a full view of the famous Rongbuk Glacier Zone, which is the largest among all the glaciers formed around the Mt. Everest.

    If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
  • Private Transfers:
    Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Lhasa, Shigatse, Dingri, Tsetang by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).
  • Guide:
    As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
  • Hotels:
    Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
    All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
