- The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace was once home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from 1420 till 1911.Its construction began in 1406 and completed in 1420. It is the world's largest and best preserved ancient complex of wooden architecture. In 1987, it was enrolled as a "World Chutural Heritage" by the UNESCO.
- Tiananmen Square: Located in the center of Beijing City, it is the largest city square in the world. It is surrounded by many magnificent buildings, such as national museums, People's Hall, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao.
- Hutong Tour including Prince Gong's Mansion: Hutong, or old alleys, is the best place to observe the tradition of old Beijing. By taking a Hutong tour, visitors can ride a rickshaw that goes through the winding Hutongs, visit a local family in their courtyard house get to see how life goes on within the traditional architectures. Then walk on Yinding Bridge, visit Prince Gong's Mansion and exlpore Pipe Street.
- Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch): This restaurant of typical Chinese style, it serves traditional-style food(mainly noodle) in a active Old Peking atmosphere. Waiters clad traditionally shout and cry around the room to announce customers arriving or leaving. Having the taste of the tasty noodles, usually eaten with a thick sesame and soy-based sauce, it is very noisy! You have some real experience of Old Beijing.

Day 3

Today's Activities: The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), Shahe Cloisonne Factory

- The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car): This section of the Great Wall is less-crowded than Badaling. It is about 2.5 hours from Beijing city center. Cables car is available to take visitors to a good section and enjoy superb views from its watch towers. You can either walk back down or choose to descend in a chairlift. Good walking shoes and protection from weather is advisable.
- Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant: Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant is near Great Wall of Mutianyu section. This garden style restaurant serves farmhouse dishes, specializing in rainbow trout, sturgeon and salmon. Its use of natural ingredients and fabulous taste will leave you with great memories.
Day 4

- Temple of Heaven: Built in 1420, the Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.72 million square meters,even bigger than the Imperial Palace. Most of the buildings are located along the central axis from south to north. This is where ancient emperors used to hold sacrificial ceremonies and pray for bumper harvests for his people.
- Summer Palace: Much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours here. Renovations (complete in 2010) mean that an individual section or building may be closed at any one time, but this is a huge site. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Traditional Mongolia Restaurant: Traditional Mongolia Restaurant is located near the Forbidden City. It serves northern Chinese food based on Mongolia cuisine. It brings Mongolia's long and distinguished cultural and literary history. A traditional Mongolian yurt (tent) is available on the third floor but a reservation is needed and a surcharge applies. Live performances of Mongolian music are sometimes preformed in the restaurant.

Day 5
Place & Transport: Overnight train to Shiyan to Wudang Shan
Today's Activities: Train station Transfer (Shiyan), Mount Wudang, , Our guide and driver will escort you from Shiyan to Wudang Shan
Meals: Chinese Dinner
- Mount Wudang: It's located in Wudang Town of Shiyan City, in the north of Hubei Province. Mi Fu, a great painter and calligrapher in Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), regarded it as the Number One Mountain under Heaven. With its many peaks, gullies, ravines, streams, and waterfalls, Mount Wudang is famous for its ancient building complex. There are also many Taoist monasteries.

Today's Activities: Hotel to bus station Transfer (Wudang Shan ), Express bus station transfer (Yichang), , , Cruise pier Transfer (Yichang), Board the ship from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and departs Yichang at night--00:00am.(Dinner is not included)

Day 8
Place & Transport: Yangtze
Today's Activities: Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site(8:30-10:30am).
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner
--Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.
Day 9
Place & Transport: Yangtze
Today's Activities: Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(8:00am-12:30pm).You also have the option of visiting the White Emperor City.

--Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.

Day 10
Place & Transport: Yangtze
Today's Activities: Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (8:30-10:30am).
Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch, Chinese Dinner
--Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 11
Place & Transport: Yangtze to Chongqing
Today's Activities: Cruise pier Transfer (Chongqing), Dazu Grottoes, , Arrives in Chongqing at 9:00am.

- Dazu Grottoes: Dazu Grottoes contain over 50,000 stone sculptures from Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. In 1999, it was enrolled as one of the "World Cultural Heritage Sites" by the UNESCO. These scupltures are mainly located at Baoding Mountain, North Mountain, Stone Gate Mountain, South Mountain and Shizhuan Mountain.

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant(Yangjiaping Branch)
- Goose Neck Park: The park is very popular among the local people in Chongqing. People come here to climb up the tower and enjoy a nice view of the city, do morning exercises, play cards or Mahjong, or simply relax.
- Ciqikou Old Town: A symbol and miniature of old Chongqing, this vibrant old neighborhood retains the buildings that date back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Its steep and narrow streets and wooden houses lining on each side are mostly unimproved and thus keep their original appearance. Shops that sell numerous souvenirs and handicrafts are worth exploring, while the tea houses, food stands and restaurants offer a good opportunity to taste the local food.
- Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant(Yangjiaping Branch): Located close to the Chongqing Zoo, Cai Xiang Yuan Restaurant serves with dishes are cooked with local flavors and ingredients. Cantonese dishes are also available.

Day 13

Today's Activities: The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Xian City Wall with Bicycle

- The Terracotta Warriors and Horses : It is one of the "Eight Wonders of the World". Over 7000 life-size soliders, chariots, horses as well as other archeological relics have been buried in this impeiral tomb since 210 BC, till they were accidentally discovered in 1974. Here you can also watch a film introducing the history of this vault. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Xian City Wall with Bicycle: The City Wall is the oldest and best preserved city wall in China, and it divides the city into inner and outer parts. It is 25.7 kilometers long and encircles the inner city. Biking on the City Wall is a pleasant experience to enjoy the view and its former glory.

Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Shiyan, Wudang Shan , Yichang, Yangtze, Chongqing, Xian by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above). - Guide:
As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available. - Hotels:
Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified. - Yangtze River Cruises:
The price quoted for a Yangtze River Cruise includes all meals onboard, and all land excursions including the smaller cruise fee to Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream. (Optional land excursions are available for a few ships which will be specially noted.) The price does not include any incidental charges, including room service, mini bar, laundry, and drinks and bar charges, tipping, etc.
