- The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car): This section of the Great Wall is less-crowded than Badaling. It is about 2.5 hours from Beijing city center. Cables car is available to take visitors to a good section and enjoy superb views from its watch towers. You can either walk back down or choose to descend in a chairlift. Good walking shoes and protection from weather is advisable.
- Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant: Xin Shuang Quan Restaurant is near Great Wall of Mutianyu section. This garden style restaurant serves farmhouse dishes, specializing in rainbow trout, sturgeon and salmon. Its use of natural ingredients and fabulous taste will leave you with great memories.

Day 3

Place & Transport: Beijing

Today's Activities: Treasure Houses, Short Hutong Tour in Xicheng District, Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Lizexiang Pearl Store

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch)

- Treasure Houses: Treasure house has undergone 4 time renovations, the present one takes up almost 220 square metres, more than 440 treasures on display belonged to Qing dynasty royalty, half of which have not never been on display in the old one. It's worthy of visiting.
- Short Hutong Tour in Xicheng District: Hutong, or old alleys, is the best place to observe the tradition of old Beijing. By taking a Hutong tour, visitors can ride a rickshaw that goes through the winding Hutongs, visit a local family in their courtyard house, talk to Beijingers and get to see how life goes on within these traditional architectures.
- Tiananmen Square: Located in the center of Beijing City, it is the largest city square in the world. It is surrounded by many magnificent buildings, such as national museums, People's Hall, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao.
- The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace was once home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from 1420 till 1911.Its construction began in 1406 and completed in 1420. It is the world's largest and best preserved ancient complex of wooden architecture. In 1987, it was enrolled as a "World Chutural Heritage" by the UNESCO.
- Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch): This restaurant of typical Chinese style, it serves traditional-style food(mainly noodle) in a active Old Peking atmosphere. Waiters clad traditionally shout and cry around the room to announce customers arriving or leaving. Having the taste of the tasty noodles, usually eaten with a thick sesame and soy-based sauce, it is very noisy! You have some real experience of Old Beijing.

- Summer Palace: Much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the lovely landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are set around the lake and rivers in natural harmony. You can expect to spend 2-3 hours here. Renovations (complete in 2010) mean that an individual section or building may be closed at any one time, but this is a huge site. Wear good walking shoes and protection from the weather.
- Temple of Heaven: Built in 1420, the Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.72 million square meters,even bigger than the Imperial Palace. Most of the buildings are located along the central axis from south to north. This is where ancient emperors used to hold sacrificial ceremonies and pray for bumper harvests for his people.
- Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant(Di'anmen Branch): This restaurant of typical Chinese style, it serves traditional-style food(mainly noodle) in a active Old Peking atmosphere. Waiters clad traditionally shout and cry around the room to announce customers arriving or leaving. Day 5

Place & Transport: Overnight train to Xian

Today's Activities: Train station Transfer (Xian), The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Ancient City Wall, Muslim Street, Chongde Handmade Pottery Factory

Meals: Chinese Lunch

- The Terracotta Warriors and Horses : It is one of the "Eight Wonders of the World". Over 7000 life-size soliders, chariots, horses as well as other archeological relics have been buried in this impeiral tomb since 210 BC, till they were accidentally discovered in 1974. Here you can also watch a film introducing the history of this vault. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Ancient City Wall: The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defences still around. Built in the 13th century on the foundations of the original Tang Forbidden City surrounding the city centre. You can walk, rent a bike,rickshaw or take an electric cart around the full 14km circuit, with great views of the city on either side. If the weather is not good for biking on the city wall, we will substitute a visit to the Bell Tower. Your guide will be very glad to take you the Bell Tower after you have been to look at the city wall.
- Muslim Street: The 500-meter-long avenue paved by blue stones gathers many restaurants, food stands and souvenir shops, which are mostly run by Muslim people. A walk through the Muslim Quarter is an interesting experience,as it not only prvides good opportunities for food and shopping, but also see the vibrant life there.
- A Wa Shan Zhai Restaurant(Qinling Branch): A Wa Village Restaurant was established in 2004, mainly specializes in Hunan and Sichuan cuisine. It provides delicacy by using the material from xancin, obtaining a nationwide reputation from customers. It would be a nice choice to dine while traveling the nearby Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses.

Day 6

Today's Activities: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Hotel to airport Transfer (Xian), Airport Transfer (Dunhuang)

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Guohua Restaurant

- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: It has become the symbol of Xi'an City since its construction in 652. The pagoda is about 64 meters tall, and it was built to house Buddhist sutras and figurines that Monk Xuanzang brought back from India. Ci'en Temple at the foot of the pagoda has several Buddhist halls and statues that are worth visiting.
- Guohua Restaurant: Located near Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the restaurant serves Cantonese food and is famous for its sea food. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and is a long established restaurant popular with the locals.

Day 7

Place & Transport: Dunhuang

Today's Activities: Echoing Sand Mountain, The Crescent Lake and Echoing-Sand Mountain, Mogao Grottoes

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Fengqingyuan Restaurant

- Echoing Sand Mountain: Its sand has a singing phenomenon that no one has yet discovered the reason. It is named so because of the sound of wind whipping off the dunes. As you approach you can see that the sand has many colors. When you slide down its slopes, you can hear the sand's sound from whispering to roaring.
- The Crescent Lake and Echoing-Sand Mountain: The Echoing-Sand Mountain is a sand crusted hill with singing sand phenomenon on sunny days. The crescent moon lake is situated between two large sand dunes, forming an oasis in the desert.
- Mogao Grottoes: Also known as "Thousand-Buddha Caves", it is one of China's three famous ancient sculptural sites. The construction began in 366 AD, and it contains some of the finest examples of ancient Buddhist art. The caves were carved out of sandstorm cliffs, and stretch 1600 kilometers from north to south.
- Fengqingyuan Restaurant: The restaurant is near the Moon Spring in Dunhuang. It is courtyard-style and the cuisine is based on local flavors. It is very popular with the locals.

Day 8

Today's Activities: Yumenguan Pass, Desert Discovery at Yadan Landform Park, The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, Hotel to Train station Transfer (Dunhuang)

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Caigenxiang Restaurant

- Yumenguan Pass: It is one of the important passes on China's western frontier during Han Dynasty (206 B. C. -220 A. D.). It is also an important point on the Silk Road in ancient times, and connects Central Asia with China.
- Desert Discovery at Yadan Landform Park: Yadan Landform Park is located on the desert, with immense scale and odd appearances that are rare in the whole world. Also known as "the Devil City", it is like an ancient city on the desert, with vivid rocks in various shapes and whirling sounds at night.
- The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty: The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty was built to defend against the Huns during the Han Dynasty. Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) is the first golden time in China's history, and it last for 400 years.
- Caigenxiang Restaurant: The Caigenxiang is near Moon Spring in Dunhuang. It is well known for its Sichuan dishes, mutton roll and hotpots.

Day 9

Place & Transport: Overnight train to Turpan

Today's Activities: Train station Transfer (Turpan), Jiaohe Ruin, Karez Well, Grape Valley

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

- Jiaohe Ruin: Jiaohe Ruins Is located 13 kilometers from Turpan City. It was built by the ancient Cheshi people of Qin and Han Dynasties. It is one of the largest and oldest well preserved ancient city remains in the world. As you walk down the streets of the ruined city, it is not hard to imagined the hustle and bustle at that time.
- Karez Well: Karez Water System is considered one of the three greatest water projects in ancient China, alongside with Dujiangyan Irrigation and Grand Canal. It is located 3 kilometers from Turpan. The water system is still functioning nowadays.
- Grape Valley: Xinjiang Province is famous for growing grapes. At the vineyards, you can savor various delicious grapes, see how raisins are processed, and enjoy dancing by beautiful Uygur girls in their traditional costumes.
- Red Rose Restaurant: Red Rose Restaurant is an authentic Uygur restaurant mainly providing Uygur cuisine in local.

Day 10

Today's Activities: Our guide and driver will escort you from Turpan to Urumqi, Heavenly Lake, Airport Transfer (Urumqi), Airport Transfer (Kashgar)

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

- Heavenly Lake: Tianchi, meaning Heavenly Lake in Chinese, is a mountain lake at an altitude of 2150 meters above sea level. The scenery is fabulous with snow capped mountains contrasting with azure blue lake waters, verdant hills and green meadows. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and protection against strong sunlight.

Day 11

Place & Transport: Kashgar

Today's Activities: Zhiren Street, Id Kah Mosque, Sunday bazaar

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Orida Culture Restaurant

- Zhiren Street: It is an amazing old street selling a wide range of products, such as porcelain, jewlery, wooden objects and musical instruments. Most of them are hand-made or imported from very distant places, so they are very charateristic and unique. The workmanship at this street is well preserved and has attracted more and more tourists from China and abraod.
- Id Kah Mosque: It is one of the largest and busiest Islamic mosque in China. It was builr in 1442 and went through several expansions. Visitors should respect the rules while visiting. You should remove your shoes on entering the hall, and women visitors should have their upper arms and legs covered.
- Sunday bazaar:
- Orida Culture Restaurant : It is an authentic Uygur restaurant mainly providing Uygur cuisine in local. With a great prestige it attracts a large number of tourists for enjoying Uygur culture during peak season. The restroom is in normal condition, no wine allowed while dining.

Day 12

Place & Transport: Kashgar to Urumqi to Beijing, Flight No. TBA, connect Flight No. TBA

Today's Activities: Lake Karakuli, Airport Transfer (Kashgar), Airport Transfer (Urumqi), Airport Transfer (Urumqi)

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch

- Lake Karakuli: A sparkling glacial lake, surrounded by stunning rocky mountains, and snow-covered peaks as high as 7500m (the lake's at 3,600). After eating in one of the collection of yurts at the water's edge you can walk around the lake (about 4 hours), or take a ride by pony, camel or motorbike, or just enjoy the scenery before returning to Kashgar. Camping is available in the yurts (best to come well prepared), and longer treks available by arrangement.

    Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Beijing, Xian, Dunhuang, Turpan, Urumqi, Kashgar by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).
  • Guide:
    As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
