- Yuyuan Garden: Yu Garden was built in 1559, and is a beautiful landscape park consists of pavilions, bridges, rocks, resident halls and ponds. A busy small market nearby offers a great shopping opportunity for souvenirs, antiques and local snacks.
- Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall: It gives an intersting exhibition of Shanghai's city planning in the past as well as in the future. The centerpiece is a huge scale model of Shanghai, which shows the layout the main buildings of this metropollis. Visitors will get to know the history, present and future developments of Shanghai through various displays and interactive exhibitions supported by multimedia and technology.
- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Located at the tip of Pudong District opposite the Bund, it is the tallest TV tower in Asia and the third in the world. It is a symbolic construction of Shanghai. There is a Shanghai History Museum on its 1st floor, where you will get to know Shanghai's history and development.
- The Bund: The 1.5-kilometer-long pedestrian with Huangpu River on the east side, is lined with European-style buildings on both sides, so it is also called "World Architectural Fair". Beautiful scenery together with shops, restaurants and bars offer much to see and do during a leisurely walk. The view at night is also magical with lighting on.

Today's Activities: Yunshanping on Jade Snow Mountain, Shuhe Naxi Village, The Mural in Baisha Village

- Yunshanping on Jade Snow Mountain: It is a large patch of pasture tucked away hidden amongst a virgin spruce forest on the eastern side of the Yulong Snow Mountain.
- Shuhe Naxi Village: Also called Longquan Village, it was an important town on the ancient tea and horse route, and also the earliest settlement of Naxi people. The whole town is peaceful with flowing streams flow pass ancient houses and bridges.
- The Mural in Baisha Village: Baisha village is one of the Naxi Minority villages in Lijiang and is more special because of the collection of murals in the village. Painted over a thousand years ago, they combine the cultures of Han, Tibetan and Naxi people displaying the life stories of the Tibet Buddhism, Confucian and Taoism. The unique artistic style and precious historical content of the murals attract visitors from home and abroad.

- Wangu Tower: The landmark building of Lijiang ancient town--the Wangu building is located on the top of Lion Hill. This is the best pure wood building in the world, which is 33 meters high.
- The Black Dragon Pool: Listed in the Collections of Famous Pools of China, the Black Dragon Pool deserves more attention. The Black Dragon Park is named after the Black Dragon Pool. It is a good place for sightseeing and enjoying leisure time.
- Lijiang Ancient Town: The old town of Lijiang is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and has a long history and splended culture. It is famous for its orderly layout of waterways, bridges, wooden-structure houses, cobblestone streets and relaxing atmosphere. Cars are not allowed in the old city in order to protect the wnvironment. There are numerous bars and coffee shops where you can idle away.
- Baisha Shiguang Restaurant: The restaurant is located in Baisha Village and provides mainly Naxi cuisine along with some Chinese dishes.

Day 6

Place & Transport: Chengdu

- Dujiangyan: Dujiangyan is a large irrigation project that was built in ancient times (256 BC), and it still functions perfectly today. The surrounding scenery is also very beautiful with numerous historical sites.
- Panda Breeding and Research Center: Situated in the suburbs of Chengdu City, it is home to the Giant Pandas, Lesser Pandas as well as some other endangered species. Here you can see Pandas eat, rest or play, or visit the Panda nursery room and and get to know about the breeding program.

Day 7

- Wu Hou Temple: It is a temple in memoriam of Zhuge Liang (181-234), a famous Chinese military strategist. The temple has several peaceful gardens and memorial halls, with some impressive statues and many inscribed stone tablets.
- Jinli Old Street: Jinli Street was one of the busiest commercial street in ancient times. The architecture of the style of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Here you can enjoy almost all kinds of traditional dishes and snakcs of Chengdu, relax in one of the elegantly decorated bars,or buy some traditional crafts such as chopsticks, papercuts, tea and lanterns as souvenirs.

Day 8

Place & Transport: Lhasa

Today's Activities: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Potala Palace

- Jokhang Temple: Johkang Monastery is located in the center of Lhasa old city, near the bustling Barkhor Street. The monastery is the product of Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques. It is the worshipping center in Lhasa, and many locals come here to pray regularly.
- Barkhor Street: It is the oldest street in Lhasa with colorful Tibetan features. Varieties of commodities are sold here and present to you all aspects of Tibetan life. You will also see pilgrims from different places of Tibet with praying wheels circling around the Jokhang Monastery.
- Potala Palace: Built in the seventh century, Potala Palace was the former winter home of Dalai Lamas. Today it served as a huge museum that houses and exhibits precious materials and articles of the history, arts, religion and culture of Tibet.
- Steak House Restaurant: Steak House is near the Potala Palace and serves mainly Western and Tibetan cuisine. Surrounded by the alluring landscape, it is a great dining experience while traveling in Tibet.

Day 9

Place & Transport: Lhasa

Today's Activities: Drepung Monastery, Norbulingka, Sera Monastery

- Drepung Monastery: Located 5 kilometers from Lhasa city center, Trepung Monastery is the largest monastery in Tibet. It was founded in 1416. Its white grand buildings makes a contrast under the sunlight against the black mountain at its back.
- Norbulingka: Built in 1755, Norbulingka served as the summer retreat for Dalai Lama. It covers an area of 360,000 square meters, and is made up of three main palaces. The garden has 370 rooms, with waterside pavilions, lakes, hills and grasslands dotted around them.
- Sera Monastery: Sera Monastery is one of the three greatest monasteries in Tibet. It is grand in scale, with an area of 114,964 square meters. It is the venue where monks hold daily debates.
- Original Crazy Yak Restaurant: Crazy Yak Restaurant is located in the city center near Potala Palace. It mainly provides a Tibetan buffet, Chinese dishes and Western style cuisine, it also serves as a casual bar as well. Decorated in Tibetan style of architecture, it has live performances at night.

Day 10

Place & Transport: Lhasa

Today's Activities: Visit Tibetan Family, Yandrok Yumtso Lake

- Visit Tibetan Family : Drive out through the countryside around Lhasa to one of the remaining rural villages.Life is hard here, mainly crop and stock; they sell the produce in Lhasa, with greenhouses on mud walls to extend the growing period.But the families are warm and friendly,and delighted to welcome you to their home, which usually includes several generations,and offer butter tea and a brief glimpse into a basic and traditional existence.
- Yandrok Yumtso Lake: Yandrok Yumsto Lake which means "the jade lake in the upper pastureland or Swan Lake" in Tibetan has an altitude of 4,441 meters. It is 130 kilometers long from east to west and 70 kilometers wide from north to south and covering an area of 638 square kilometers. It is a continental lake supplied with rain, thawing snow and icebergs. Beautiful Holy lake is everyone’s dreaming spot. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your leisure time.

Today's Activities: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Chongde Handmade Pottery Factory

- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: It has become the symbol of Xi'an City since its construction in 652. The pagoda is about 64 meters tall, and it was built to house Buddhist sutras and figurines that Monk Xuanzang brought back from India. Ci'en Temple at the foot of the pagoda has several Buddhist halls and statues that are worth visiting.
- The Terracotta Warriors and Horses : It is one of the "Eight Wonders of the World". Over 7000 life-size soliders, chariots, horses as well as other archeological relics have been buried in this impeiral tomb since 210 BC, till they were accidentally discovered in 1974. Here you can also watch a film introducing the history of this vault. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Qianzhou Restaurant(Xiao Yanta Branch): Qianzhou Restaurant is well-known for its local flavors and ingredients originating from Qian County. The style, Qianzhou Four Treasures is considered to be famous nationally. The specialties are of ancient origin from the Tang Dynasty and leave customers with great culinary memories.

- Xian City Wall with Bicycle: The City Wall is the oldest and best preserved city wall in China, and it divides the city into inner and outer parts. It is 25.7 kilometers long and encircles the inner city. Biking on the City Wall is a pleasant experience to enjoy the view and its former glory.

- Desert Discovery at Yadan Landform Park: Yadan Landform Park is located on the desert, with immense scale and odd appearances that are rare in the whole world. Also known as "the Devil City", it is like an ancient city on the desert, with vivid rocks in various shapes and whirling sounds at night.
- Yangguan Museum: Yangguan Museum: a new museum that has been recently built, this contains artifacts of the era beautifully displayed

- Riding on a Camel: Riding on a camel and traveling along the desert, you can not only enjoy the beutiful scenery of setting sun in the desert, but also have a real experience of traveling along the Silk Road.Further more, you will have a chance to see the five-color sand on the Echoing-Sand Mountain.
- The Crescent Lake and Echoing-Sand Mountain: The Echoing-Sand Mountain is a sand crusted hill with singing sand phenomenon on sunny days. The crescent moon lake is situated between two large sand dunes, forming an oasis in the desert.
- Mogao Grottoes: Also known as "Thousand-Buddha Caves", it is one of China's three famous ancient sculptural sites. The construction began in 366 AD, and it contains some of the finest examples of ancient Buddhist art. The caves were carved out of sandstorm cliffs, and stretch 1600 kilometers from north to south.
- Caigenxiang Restaurant: The Caigenxiang is near Moon Spring in Dunhuang. It is well known for its Sichuan dishes, mutton roll and hotpots.

Day 16

Today's Activities: Short Hutong Tour in Xicheng District, The Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Lizexiang Pearl Store

Meals: Breakfast, Chinese Lunch at Traditional Mongolia Restaurant

- Short Hutong Tour in Xicheng District: Hutong, or old alleys, is the best place to observe the tradition of old Beijing. By taking a Hutong tour, visitors can ride a rickshaw that goes through the winding Hutongs, visit a local family in their courtyard house, talk to Beijingers and get to see how life goes on within these traditional architectures.
- The Forbidden City: The Imperial Palace was once home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, from 1420 till 1911.Its construction began in 1406 and completed in 1420. It is the world's largest and best preserved ancient complex of wooden architecture. In 1987, it was enrolled as a "World Chutural Heritage" by the UNESCO.
- Temple of Heaven: Built in 1420, the Temple of Heaven covers an area of 2.72 million square meters,even bigger than the Imperial Palace. Most of the buildings are located along the central axis from south to north. This is where ancient emperors used to hold sacrificial ceremonies and pray for bumper harvests for his people.
- Tiananmen Square: Located in the center of Beijing City, it is the largest city square in the world. It is surrounded by many magnificent buildings, such as national museums, People's Hall, and Memorial Hall of Chairman Mao.
- Traditional Mongolia Restaurant: Traditional Mongolia Restaurant is located near the Forbidden City. It serves northern Chinese food based on Mongolia cuisine. It brings Mongolia's long and distinguished cultural and literary history. A traditional Mongolian yurt (tent) is available on the third floor but a reservation is needed and a surcharge applies. Live performances of Mongolian music are sometimes preformed in the restaurant.

Day 17

Today's Activities: Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip), The Mutianyu Great Wall

- Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip): This section of the Great Wall is less-crowded than Badaling. It is about 2.5 hours from Beijing city center. Cables car is available to take visitors to a good section and enjoy superb views from its watch towers. You can either walk back down or choose to descend in a chairlift. Good walking shoes and protection from weather is advisable.
- The Mutianyu Great Wall : This section of the Great Wall is less-crowded than Badaling. It is about 2.5 hours from Beijing city center.     If the restaurant indicated is not available on the day, your guide will arrange another restaurant from our list of approved restaurants. Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied, however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
  • Private Transfers:
    Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in Shanghai, Lijiang, Chengdu, Lhasa, Xian, Dunhuang, Beijing by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).
  • Guide:
    As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
  • Hotels:
    Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds.
