Mini boat Porridge
Mini boat porridge is a kind of traditional porridge, with its origins in the region of Liwan which has ever been the western suburb of Guangzhou. Selling on the mini-boat by local people in Liwan in the past and that is why this porridge obtains the name. It is said that mini-boat porridge developed from fresh fish. The raw materials of this dish are fish, pork, fried stock, peanut, and sometimes beef are also added. The smooth and soft taste, coupled with the fragrance, make mini-boat porridge a must in every shops selling porridge both at home and overseas.
Tips:
The most traditional way to enjoy mini-boat porridge is believed to be cooked with clean river water and eaten on the boat. There is still an elder cooking and selling porridge in this way in the Huangpu area in Guangdong.
