The Moon Hill

The Moon Hill which is 380 meters high, locates in the Gaotian County, 8.5 kilometers far away from the south of the Yangshuo County. There is a hole which looks like a bright moon hanging in the sky through out the top of the mountain. The name of Moon Hill also comes from this. This hole is so huge that it is estimated to be 50 meters high and wide. It is a completely natural hole, however two walls of it are extraordinarily smooth as if they were created by the spirits. At the top of the hole, there are so many natural stalactites in different shapes and sizes which are beautiful and shining. In sunny day, people could enjoy the bright cloud through out the hole down the mountain. At this time, this mountain looks more like a bright mirror. The most interesting thing is that people standing in different places could enjoy the different lunar phases.

The Moon Hill is also a suitable place for rocking climbing. Many rocking climbing enthusiasts have been there. It attracts thousands of people come to there to conquer the nature and challenge theirselves.
