Airport

Guilin Liangjiang International Airport (KWL) is located about 28 kilometers southwest of Guilin’s city center. There are scheduled flights every day to major cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Xi’an, Guangzhou, Kunming, Guiyang, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Dalian, Qingdao, Xiamen, and Sanya. International flights are also available, linking Guilin with Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei and Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Singapore, Seoul in South Korea, Fukuoka in Japan, Bangkok in Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Taxi
A taxi ride from Guilin’s city center to the airport takes about 30 minutes and costs 80-100 yuan, and vice versa.

Airport Bus
From the airport to the city center:
Airport buses are available whenever there are flights landing. It costs 20 yuan per person, and takes about 40 minutes to get to the city center. They run between the airport and the Aviation Hotel in the city center.
From the city center to the airport:
Airport buses from the city center to the airport are available every 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The trip takes about 40 minutes and costs 20 yuan per person. Passengers can buy tickets and get on the bus at Aviation Hotel (Address: 18 Shanghai Road, Tel: 0773-3985322).
