Hainan Subtropical Wildlife Park

 Hainan Subtropical Wildlife Park is located on Dongshan Town in Xiuying District of Haikou City, which is 27 kilometers (17 miles) away from Haikou City, and it is the first park with the themes of the Scientific Popular Knowledge and the Subtropical Wildlife Exhibition. Now the park covers an area of more than 133 hectares with more than 4,000 wild animals of over 200 species as well as over 700 rare plant species, which forms the harmonious Subtropical Rain Forest landscapes. Setting on your feet on the park, it seems as if you are going into a huge natural oxygen bar, which makes you feel very refreshed and comfortable.

The main features of Hainan Subtropical Wildlife Park
Hainan Subtropical Wildlife Park can be divided into 4 areas according to its functions: the Vehicular Section, the Walking Section, the Lakeside Resort Section and the Service Center Section, among which you can watch the wild endangered animals in the Vehicular Section and the Walking Section. You can watch the African lions, the Northeast tigers and the black bears on a sightseeing bus; and you can also watch Asian elephants, giraffes, crocodiles, hippos and pythons on foot; you can also wander around among the rockeries playing with the man-made monkeys as well as watching the flying performances of different kinds of birds. When you feel tired, you can have your lunch in the Flamingo Restaurant in the park, watching the fish swimming in the river and listening to the sound of the flowing streams. Getting there
It is located on Dongshan Town in Xiuying District of Haikou City, 27 kilometers (17 miles) away from Haikou City, so you can take a medium-sized bus from Haikou City to Fucheng, and stop at the gate of Hainan Subtropical Wildlife Park. It is open to the public from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm every day.
