- Yellow Mountain: Mount Huang, also known as Huangshan, is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China, located in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, across the city Yi County, Xiuning County and Huangshan District, Huizhou District. It is said that Sunrise, grotesque rocks, dramatic pines and seas of clouds, thermal spring are the "five matchless things of Huangshan" and all of them are marvelous to both local and overseas visitors.
- Xidi Village: Located in Yixian County, Xidi and Hongcun Ancient Villages were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2000. These two villages are the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province.
- Hongcun Village: Hongcun, a village, is located in the southwest foot of Mount Huang, 11 kilometers south-west to Yixian County. It was originally the only access to Beijing for trading from Yi Xian in ancient times. The village covers an area of about 28 hectares, among which an area of 19.11 hectares is defined as the scope of the ancient villages. The bird view of village's shape is like a resting water-buffalo. The running water flows in the winding ditches to every household, and finally gathers in a little lake at the entrance of the village. The peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings present outsiders a piece of pleasing and tranquil picture of a typical country life in South China.
The temperature of Huangshan decreases perpendicularly from the foot to the summit. It will drop approximately 0.61 ° C when go upwards per 100 meters, and to the Peak, it may reduce about 10 ° C. From the foot to the summit, there are three different types of climate: the foot belongs to the sub-tropical climate; the mountainside is the temperate climate; and the Peak belongs to the arctic climate.
