Huangshan Travel Tips

Best touring season:

In Huangshan, winter is said to be the most beautiful tourist season. It will start raining from December to next March. Also in winter, the weather phenomenon of seas of clouds often appears. Some times, seas of clouds could appear for 3 days. 

 

 

Route:

It is suggested that the black of the mountain, (namely, Cloudy Valley Temple) is the best start point of Huangshan hiking tours. And if taking funicular, Ciguang Ge will be the most suitable start point. 

 

Note:

1. No matter in which season, temperature of Mount Huang is very low with strong wind. So remember to wear down jacket and thick hat if you plan to climb it.

2. In winter, it often snows in Mount Huang, the road is very slippery, so it is better to wear hiking shoes, and meanwhile, a crutch and a pair of warm gloves are necessary very much.

3. If customers are exhausted in mountain, Cloudy Valley Temple will be the best next station for there is a set of funicular. Customers could take funicular there to the top of the mountain safely and comfortably.
4. It is recommended to have a drink during dinner for proper amount of wine could protection against the cold.
