Bus system
The bus service in Kashgar is very convenient with more than 30 bus routines which can take you every corner you like in the city, especially to the scenic spots. Now all the buses in Kashgar are automatic, so you have to prepare changes. The ticket fare is CNY 1 for the common buses and CNY 2 for the air-conditioned buses.

Taxi
The green taxies with the brand Santana are the most vehicles in Kashgar, which give convenience to the residents and tourists. The starting price of taxies is CNY 5 for the first 3 kilometers (1.86 miles) in the beginning and the price will be CNY 1.3 per kilometer for extra. It usually costs you RMB 10 from Kashgar Railway Station to the city center. Almost all the taxi drivers are walking maps, so you can take their advice, but you’d better ask for clear quotation price and invoice.
