Kashgar has continental climate with the dry and windy weather owing to its unique location, which features a long summer and a short winter each year. The mean annual temperature is 10℃. The hottest month is in July with the mean annual temperature of 27℃ and the coldest month is in January with the mean annual temperature of -6℃. The best time to visit Kashgar is from August to September when the fruit are ripe.
