The Museum of Gansu Province
The Museum of Gansu Province is located in the south of Xijin West Road in Qilihe District of Lanzhou City, which has a rich and colorful collections in different kinds of forms, including the historical relics, the ethical relics and the revolutionary relics as well as the natural specimens, reaching as many as 350,000 in total. The Waterwheel Exhibit Park
The Waterwheel Exhibit Park is located in the west of Binhe Road of Lanzhou City with the Zhongshan Bridge in the east, the Mother Statute of the Yellow River in the west, the White Tower Mountain in the north and the White Cloud Temple in the south, covering an area of 14,500 square meters (17,342 square yards), which was built by a local senior architecture in 1994. The waterwheels are actually the irrigation tools with the diameter of the 16.5 meters (18 yards) in the wheel span, standing on the south bank of the Yellow River, which rotate with the help of the natural water, and the park is a professional tourism park recovering the ancient traditional irrigation system in Gansu Province.Read More
Zhongshan Iron Bridge
Located at the foot of the White Tower Mountain in the north part of the Binhe Central Road, the Zhongshan Iron Bridge was built in the 33rd (1907) year during the reign of Emperor Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1,616 A.D.-1,911 A.D.), which is bestowed with the title of “the First Bridge across the Yellow River”, and it is actually the oldest bridge with a long history in Lanzhou City.Read More
Bingling Temple Grottoes
Located 35 kilometers (22 miles) on the Little Jishi Mountain in the northwest of Yongjing County of Gansu Province, the Bingling Temple Grottoes is displayed on the steep cliff that is 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) long from south to north with its initial name of the Tangshu Grottoes, and it is considered “One of the Three Grottoes in Gansu Province” as well as “One of the Five Grottoes in China”, which is very grand and splendid above the ground.Read More
