Buses

The roads in Lanzhou City are wide and good, so the transportation is very convenient in the city, actually there are more than 120 public bus routes in the city. You can take a bus to most places of the city, especially to the scenic spots. Now all the buses in the city are automatic, so you have to prepare changes in advance. The ticket fare is CNY 1 in the common buses and CNY 2 in the air-conditioned buses within the city.

Taxies

The taxi in the city is very convenient, and the starting price of taxies is CNY 7 for the first 3 kilometers (1.9 miles). The price will be CNY 1.4 per one kilometer later. Almost all the taxi drivers are walking maps, so you can take their advice, but you’d better bargain with the driver before you get in the taxi.
