Highway

There are many routine buses from almost all the major cities to Lanzhou City each day. As the first expressway built in Gansu Province, there are National Roads No. 6 (Beijing- Lhasa), G30 (from Lianyungang of Jiangsu Province to Huo'erguosi of Xinjiang), G75 (from Lanzhou to Haikou of Hainan Province), G22 (from Qingdao of Shandong Province to Lanzhou), G109 (from Dandong of Liaoning Province to Lhasa of Tibet), G309 (from Rongcheng of Shandong Province to Lanzhou) and G316 (from Fuzhou of Fujian Province to Lanzhou) running through the city as well as some provincial roads. There are 7 Long-Distance Bus Stations in the city, among which 4 are very helpful for the visitors: Lanzhou Railway Station, Lanzhou Long-Distance Eastern Bus Station, Lanzhou Long-Distance Western Bus Station and Lanzhou Long-Distance Southern Bus Station.

1. Lanzhou Railway Station
The buses in the station are mainly leaving for the major cities in China like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Guangzhou and Hangzhou as well as some neighboring cities within Gansu Province.
Location：it is in No. 129, on the Pingliang Road of Lanzhou City

2. Lanzhou Long-Distance Eastern Bus Station
The buses in the station are mainly leaving for some cities within the Gansu Province such as Dunhuang City, Jiuquan City, Zhangye City and Tianshui City as well as some cross-provincial cities such as Hangzhou and Xi’an. You can take a bus No. 1, 106 and 127 from the station to the western bus station in the city.
Location: it is in No. 193, on Pingliang Road of Lanzhou City in Gansu Province.

3. Lanzhou Long-Distance Western Bus Station
The buses from this station are mainly leaving for Hexi Corridor area, and you can take a bus No. 1, 106 and 127 from the station to the western bus station in the city.
Location: it is in No. 456, on Xijin East Road in Qilihe District of Lanzhou City

4. Lanzhou Long-Distance Southern Bus Station
It is located in the intersection of the National Road No. 212 and Lan- Lin Highway, and you can take a bus No. 1 from the city center to stop at Xiguanshizi, and then transfer to the bus No. 111 to get there directly.
