Snowland Restaurant

Snowland restaurant, located at 4Tibetan Hospital Road (on the right side if the Jokhang Temple Square), is well--known in Lhasa. It is next to the Snowland Hotel not far away from Barkor Market. It is opened by a Nepalese guy, basically a restaurant plus bars.

Here are mainly Western and Southeast Asian style dishes and Tibetan food. The typical Tibetan food includes Tsampa, Barley Wine and Buttered Tea. Eating in the Snowland Restaurant is a kind of enjoyment. Listening to the soft and slow-pattern Nepalese music is a wonderful experience.

Structural Feature:
After entering the door, you can see two large pillars. In the middle of the pillars there is a row of fence. Flowers on the fence separate both sides of the fence. Chairs and Tables inside the restaurant are covered with pieces of fabric on which there are typical Nepalese patterns. Western dinner sets are all ready on the table, as well as a small jar filled with tomato catsup.

1.You can get there by taking No.89, 200, 201, 106, 107, 105 and 108 Bus.
2.as home-made cakes are of half price after 21:00, you should not miss the chance.
