Show of Impression Lijiang

The “Show of Impression Lijiang” is consisted of six parts——“the Caravan on the Ancient Tea and Horse Route”, " Drink facing snow mountain”, "the Earthly Paradise”, "Singing with Blowing and Jumping”, "Deity Worshiping by Beating Drums” and “the Praying Ceremony. The whole performance uses the snow mountain as the background, basing on the folk culture and customs. The 500 actors and actresses come from 10 minority nationalities including Naxi, Yi, Pumi, Tibetan, Miao and so on. The farmer actors and actresses are from more than 16 villages in Lijiang and Dali. They are the real protagonists of Lijiang since their hometowns are here.

There is no detail theme or concrete story in the show of “Show of Impression Lijiang”. Instead, it is focus on expressing the individual experiences in Lijiang of the three directors. The first part “Snow Mountain” is describing conversations with the mountain, which expresses that people come here from all over the world to experience the relationship between nature and human being. The second part is focus on feeling life by climbing the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and visiting in Lijiang Ancient City. The third part "Ancient City” stands for dialogizing with ancestor to find out the sacred kingdom in deep heart of people.
