Ferries and Ports
1. Hong Kong and Macau
Scheduled liners are available from Gang’ao Port and Jianshaju Port in Hong Kong and Macau Port, a great 1-hour trip during which visitors can appreciate the amazing views of the Pearl River Delta.
2. Shenzhen and Macau
Direct liners between Shenzhen’s Shekou Port and Macau Port every day take about 1 hour for the whole journey.
3. Speed boats from Shenzhen’s Fuyong Port and Macau’s New Gang’ao Port take about 1 hour for the whole journey. Scheduled trips from Shenzhen to Macau are at 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 5:15 pm every day; and from Macau to Shenzhen at 9:45 am, 10:45 am, 12:30 pm, and 7:00 pm every day.
3. Alternative Transportation
Alternatively, there are jet boats, helicopters, and ferries between Hong Kong and Macau. The first costs about MOP 150 for one hour, and the second costs a luxurious premium for 20 minutes, leaving the third and final option as the most preferred means of travel for most visitors between the two regions.
