  • Sun Yat sen Mausoleum: Located in Zhongshan Scenic Spot Area in the east of Nanjing, Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum is actually a cluster of memorial architectures composing a mausoleum and auxiliary buildings, which was built in 1929 in memory of the father of the nation- Mr. Sun Yat-sen. Surrounded by mountains, the whole mausoleum is distributed in the shape of “the Warning Bell”, among which the memorial hall functions as the main body of the mausoleum with three successive doors.
  • Xiaoling Mausoleum: Xiaoling Mausoleum is located at the foot of Wanzhu Mountain, where the first emperor Zhu Yuanzhang and Empress Ma of the Ming Dynasty (1,368 A.D.-1,644 A.D.) were buries here. As the highest level in the field of architectures and stone inscriptions, the magnificent style of Xiaoling Mausoleum has a great influence on the distributions of the following imperial mausoleums in the Ming and the Qing Dynasties (1,616 A.D.-1,911 A.D.), which was enlisted in the World Heritage List by UNESCO in 2003 with the appraisal: “Xiaoling is built according to the traditional geomantic omen theory, which is the result of man conquering the nature, and it not only represents the traditional Chinese architecture and decoration theory, but also it expresses the world view and power view in feudal society.”
  • Zhonghua Gate: As the biggest castle-gate of Nanjing ancient wall, the Zhonghua Gate is located in the north of the Changgan Bridge in the south of Nanjing, which was built in the second year (1,369 A.D) during the period of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1,368 A.D.-1,644 A.D.) with its initial name of Collecting-Treasure Gate, and it was renamed the Zhonghua Gate in 1931. It is enlisted as the key culture relic unit under state protection as the best- preserved and most complex castle in the world.
