Pingyao Weather

Pingyao has semi-arid continental monsoon climate in temperate zone. The climate inPingyao is very clear with four distinctive seasons all the year around: a wind spring with little rain, a hot and rainy summer, a cool autumn and cold and dry winter. The annual average temperature is 10.1°C with the hottest month in July with the temperature of 24℃ and the coldest month in January with the temperature of -5.5℃. The annual precipitation is about 540 mms in Pingyao, which is mainly concentrated in summer. The best time to visit it is spring and autumn.
