There are many new public buses in Qingdao, which are very convenient for the visitors from all over the world, and now all the public buses in the city are automatic with the ticket fare of CNY 1 for the common bus and CNY 1 for the air- conditioned buses. The bus No. 26, 201 and 202 run along the coastal line with the starting station as the railway station. The bus No. 26 can reach most of the attractions in Qingdao, for example: the Zhongshan Park, the Navy Museum, Qingdao Underwater World, the Former Residence of Kang Youwei’s, the Huashi Tower, the Zhanshan Temple and the Yingbin Hotel. The most comfortable and convenient transportation facility is the Private Tourism Bus with 28 seats, which is well- equipped with professional tour guides and air conditioner. And you can take a private tourism bus from Huaneng Square to Beijiushui Scenic Spot and Yangkou Scenic Spot from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm every day.
Taxies
The taxies in Qingdao are mainly with the brands of Jetta and Santana, and the starting price of the taxi is CNY 1 for the first 3 kilometers (1.9 miles), later you will be charged CNY 1.2 per kilometer in the day time; however, you will be charged CNY 1.5 after the first 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am in the following day, but you’d better bargain with the driver before you get on the taxi.
Cruiser
The Tourism Port on the Laiyang Road is located in the north of Navy Museum, and you can take a cruiser among Little Qingdao, Luxun Park and Taiping Palace, among which there are many tourism programs favored by the visitors.
Zhongyuan Haishang Square Tourism Port is located on the Xilingxia Road, and you can take a cruiser to the Zhucha Island and the Dagong Island from the port. There are ferries and cruisers between Qingdao Developing Zone to the Old Qingdao, and the main routes are as follows: from Huangdao Ferry Port to Qingdao Ferry Port, from Xuejia Island Anzi Port to Qingdao Ferry Port and from Qingdao Fushan Bay to Qingdao Ferry Port. The common cruiser runs every half an hour every day from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm, and the high speed ship runs every 20 minutes from 7:10 am to 6:30 pm every day.
