Jinjiang Park

As the first modern large- scale amusement park in Shanghai, the Jinjiang Park is located in No. 201, on the Hongmei Road in the southwest of Shanghai, which was built in 1984 with an area of more than 135,546 square yards, and there are more than 40 tourism programs that are suitable to the different age groups in the park, integrating entertainment, artistic modeling and natural landscapes together. There are more than 1 million people visiting the park every year.

The main features of the Jinjiang Park

The park is well-equipped with the modern and advanced entertaining facilities to meet the demands of different type of people, and the two programs- “the Joy Land” and “the Gorge Drifting” are built in the park, which have greatly improved the image of the park, attracting more and more visitor little by little. As a matter of fact, “the Joy Land” is a fairy tale world, which combines education with recreation through the sound, the lighting and the electricity, displaying the famous fairy tales from all over the world in different times. “The Gorge Drifting” is actually the transplantation of the natural gorge, which makes the visitors feel that they are in the screen of drifting in the torrent. There are other many entertaining programs in the park: first giant wheel, the Pirate Ship, the layered merry-go-around, the Space Shot, the Notes for 4D Ride Film, the Horror House and the Bumper Car without Nets, which are very attractive for the visitors from all over the world together with its pleasant environment. Besides, there are also modern supporting facilities in the park such as restaurants and supermarket in the park and it has received more than 23,000,000 people since its opening.

Getting there:

It is located in No. 201, on the Hongmei Road in the southwest of Shanghai, and you can take a bus No. 50, 166, 218, 703, 704, 712, 122, 755, 725, 735, 131, 152, 747, 764, 803 and 816 as well as the subway Line 1 to get there directly. It is open to the public from 8:45 am to 5:00 pm every day.
