Shanghai International Convention Center

Located in No. 2106, on the Hongqiao Road of Shanghai, Shanghai International Convention Center has become a famous landscape in Lujiazui together with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Jinmao Mansion. The outer wall of Shanghai International Convention Center covers an area of 25,860 square meters (30,928 square yards), which is composed of the crystallite curtain wall, the granite curtain wall, the single-skin aluminum curtain wall and the glass curtain wall, which seems very elegant and magnificent in appearance. Besides, there are also café bars, western and Chinese restaurants, swimming pools and supermarket in the building. There is a roof garden and an open-air sightseeing corridor on the 11th floor in the building. Many fresh ornamental trees and shrubs are planted in the roof garden, and a sightseeing platform is in the ball, where the visitors can appreciate the fine sceneries along Huangpu River when drinking tea. The sightseeing corridor is as long as 100 meters (109 yards) with the sighting floor above and the recreational floor below, which connects the two balls at its two ends. Just as the organizer of the Fortune Global Forum in 1999: “Shanghai International Convention Center is the best one among the venues for holding global forums.”

It is located in No. 2106, on the Hongqiao Road of Shanghai, and you can take a bus No. 583, 621, 623, 776, 778, 82, 797, 983, U3, 81, 85, 581B and 795 as well as subway Line 2 to get there directly. It is open to the public from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm ever day.
