Happy Valley is the most magnificent scenic area in Shenzhen, covers an area of 350,000 square meters, and is a large-scale theme park combining aesthetic enjoyment, entertainment, and recreation. It is well equipped with the most advanced science and technology in China and has received more than 22.5 million visitors from different countries since its opening in 1998.

The main features of Happy Valley

Happy Valley is composed of 8 scenic areas, namely Spanish Square, Magic Castle, Mt. Adventure, Gold Mine Town, Shangri-la Woods, Sunshine Beach, Typhoon Bay, and Happy Island. There are more than 100 entertainment programs in Happy Valley suitable for both the young and the old; Playa Maya Water Park, where one can appreciate the mysterious Mayan civilization, is especially a paradise for children. Many programs are introduced to Happy Valley from the U.S., Holland, and Germany as well as some Asian countries. The first hanging Chinese rollercoaster, Flying Dragon in Snow Mountain; the first Chinese laneway mine vehicle; the first Chinese Isaac Mini-train; and the highest “Space Shuttle” in Asia can all be found in Happy Valley.

Visitors can journey on the mine vehicle to experience the scene of escaping from a flood, and the Space Shuttle can send guests shooting 60 meters into the air in 1.8 seconds before falling directly back down. Based on the sceneries in Happy Valley, a 4-D theater stands on the surface of water, combining video, sound, shadow, and lighting for a thrilling show.

When night falls, the magical and elegant dance-drama “Happy MD” is a delight for visitors who can taste delicious dishes from all over the world on the Happy Avenue. Street dancing and high-altitude acrobatics are also available for entertainment in Happy Valley after a long day.
