Scenery:  Being the main peak of the Gangdisê Mountains with an elevation of 6638 meters, the sacred mountain of Kailash is regarded as the center of the world in four religions: Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Bön and Jainism. Mount Kailsh is a mecca for pilgrims, attracting countless pilgrims from Nepal, India , Bhutan and all over Tibet. Walking along this old prilgrimage route and following the footprints of monks and disciple, hikers will experience the pious religious atmosphere besides enjoying the stunning natural scenery.

Tips:
1. Pack for professional outdoor camping, including tent, down-filled sleeping bag, food, compass and walking cane.
2. Hike with a guide and respect the local customs.
3. Simple food supply is available at Darchen, and the price is higher than in Lhasa.
4. Prepare enough food, especially high-calorie snacks for the hiking.
