Suzhou, a city in eastern Jiangsu Province, is situated in the geographical center of the Yangtze River Delta. It is neighboring Shanghai in the east and the Taihu Lake in the west, with 219 kilometers to the Nanjing City in the west and 80 to the downtown of Shanghai City in the east.   • Garden of the Master of Nets: The Master of the Nets Garden, located in Suzhou of the Jiangsu Province, is masterpiece classical garden in the style of the Qing Dynasty. It was built by government official Shi Zhengzhi with the simple notion of a fisherman’s life and was initially used as a delicate garden but has since evoled into a scholar’s garden with its own unique style among Chinese classical gardens.
  • Lion Grove Garden: Lion Grove Garden, located at Yuanlin Road in Suzhou in the Jiangsu Province, is world famous for its unique labyrinthine of taihu rocks and covers an area of 6,670 square meters.
  • Lingering Garden: Lingering Garden is famous for its delicate building distribution and numerous rare stones. It initially functioned as Xu Taishi’s personal garden in the Ming Dynasty, then was later renamed Hanbi Villa by Liu Shu in the Qing Dynasty.

  • Train: The famous Beijing-Shanghai railway is running through the city from the north to south everyday, and nearly all the train of this line will stop in Suzhou. The train from Shanghai to Suzhou is started every 20 minutes with a ticket of 7-22 Yuan, only take 40 to half and an hours.
  • Boat: The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes though the city so that it is very convenient to visit Suzhou by boat. The main ports in Suzhou include the Port of Shanghai, Zhangjiagang Changshu, and Taicang.
  • Airport: There are more than 300 airlines flying to 97 domestic cities. The nearby airports include the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, Nanjing International Airport, Shuofang Airport, Suzhou Guangfu Airport as well as the Pudong Airport.
