Turpan-Jiaohe airport is 10 kilometers from Turpan City and is 230 kilometers form Urumqi International Airport.

The major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing and Zhengzhou, all have already established direct flight to Urumqi International Airport. Most of the tourists choose to Urumqi International Airport as the transfer stop--fly to Urumqi first and then take a bus to the scenic spots in Turpan and other cities, which is a very good option for the visitors. It takes only two hours' driving by expressway from the airport to Turpan city center.

After arriving at the Urumqi Airport, the visitors can take bus No.51 outside the airport to Nianzigou, where Urumqi Bus Station is located. There you can take the long-distance bus to Turpan Bus Station from 09:00 in the morning to 8:30 in the evening every day.
