Inner City Transportation

Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang are well connected by Jianghan Bridge, the No. 2 and the No. 3 bridges, making it very convenient for the visitors to travel in Wuhan. Besides, the LRT are also put into use as well as some tourism buses.

Buses

There are 273 bus routes in Wuhan, among which 55 are regular routes and 200 are private routes as well as 16 clean- energy routes. The ticket fare in Wuhan is CNY 1 in the common buses, 1.5 CNY in the two-storied buses and CNY 2 in the air-conditioned buses within the city

Taxi cabs

Taxi service is one of the most convenient transportation in Wuhan, Regardless of what company they serve, rates are set by Municipal Transportation Agency. It cost CNY 6 first 2km and CNY1.2 for every extra km.

Light Rail Transportation

The First Metro Line, which has 10 stations, runs 10 kilometers from Zongguan to Huangpu Road via Taipingyang, Qiaokou Road, Chongren Road, Liji North Road, Youyi Road, Jianghan Road, Dazhi Road and Sanyang Road, from 6:30am to 9:30pm. It cost CNY 1.5 for the first 6 stops and CNY2 for each extra stop.
