- Wuwei Desert Park : Located in the east part of Wuwei City, Wuwei Desert Park is the first ecological desert park combining the desert landscape, the plain flavor and the gardening arts perfectly as one, which is just like a green pearl with 19 kilometers (12 miles) from the city center, and it was built in 1986 as the Desert Plant Natural Reserve. It has become a famous tourism attraction both in China and abroad, which is bestowed with the title of “the First Park in the Desert”.
