Buses

There are a total of 36 public bus routes in Yichang. The ticket fare is CNY 1 for common buses and CNY 2 for sightseeing buses in the city. A multi-level ticketing fare system is implemented on the tourism buses according to the distance. It is very convenient for visitors to travel between each corner of the city.

Taxis

The taxi rate in Yichang is CNY 3 for the first kilometer, CNY 4 for 2 kilometers, CNY 5 for 3 kilometers, then a charge of CNY 1.2 per kilometer after the first 3 kilometers. Additionally, another CNY 0.5 is charged as a Bunker Adjustment Factor. It is suggested to first bargain with the driver before taking a taxi, and don’t forget to claim an invoice or receipt after paying.
