Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport is at the foot of Tianmenshan in Zhangjiajie City, which is about 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) away from the downtown area, and the main flights in the airport are domestic flights. There are regular direct flights from the airport to the major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chengdu, Changsha, Xi’an, Qingdao, Shenyang, Xiamen, Hangzhou and Nanjing, besides, there are some temporary fights to the other cities according to timetable, to which the visitors should pay attention.

There are airport shuttle buses from the airport to the center city from each day, which takes you 20 minutes with the ticket fee is CNY 5 for each one, and you can take a bus No. 4 or a taxi to the city center from the airport with the ticket fare is CNY 1 and CNY 20 respectively.
